BloodStock is an exciting new venture, bringing together all the main aspects of the Thoroughbred world. We were delighted to be asked by the founder to design the company’s logo, and to work on a range of products for its launch, including racecourse signage, advertisement design, sponsorship materials, video creation, and more.
We look forward very much to continuing our association with BloodStock.
Vénetas approached Blue Violet in 2021 to help them with a specific project, and our relationship has since blossomed. In 2023 we assisted our client with a range of items, including branding and promotional material for a flagship conference.
Blue Violet started working with Amy Murphy Racing in 2017, on a range of graphic design projects, including brochures, flyers, roll-out banners, racecard advertisements and building signage.
We look forward to continuing our association with our client as she develops her business.
Blue Violet has been working with Holst Real Estate Capital Ltd since 2016, since when we have designed the company logo and stationery, and created a responsive brochure-style website for the business.
We were delighted to welcome leading owner/breeder of racehorses, Meon Valley Stud, as a client in 2023. Our first project was to design the stud’s Christmas card, featuring a commissioned painting by Anne Ward of three of the stud’s mares as the design.
1e Van der Huchtschool
A major project for Spring/Summer 2023 was the design and layout of a perfect bound A4 Leavers’ Book for the children of the 1e Van der Huchtschool, Soest. This wonderful annual keepsake documents the children’s progress through each year of the school, before they part ways on their individual paths to secondary school.
Blue Violet has worked with Norfolk Knits since 2008, starting by designing the business’s logo. We have worked closely with our client ever since, and have designed business cards, letterhead, promotional postcards and a responsive website for Norfolk Knits. We have also photographed their beautiful products.

Blue Violet was delighted to be asked to design a desk calendar for the Ascott Estate and to photograph areas of the gardens for this project.
This was the first time that a calendar had been produced for the estate (2015) and we have since completed similar calendars every year (to 2019).
Grantchester Hotels came to Blue Violet on the recommendation of an existing, ongoing client. We designed the hotel group’s logo and various items of stationery as our first project for our new client.

Fittocks Stud
Having designed a series of postcards for Cumani Racing, Blue Violet worked closely with our clients to produce a desk calendar for both the racing yard and the family’s Fittocks Stud.
Blue Violet has designed a range of stationery items for Newmarket racehorse trainer, David Simcock, including a calendar (from 2015 to 2018), business cards, greetings cards and postcards.
Anne Ward has also painted Bushman (one of the yard’s first top level horses) for David and Jennie Simcock.
Blue Violet started to work with Olive Dental Care in 2009, when we designed a trifold leaflet and an oversize A4 wallet for our client. We continue to work with Olive Dental Care on additional projects.

Blue Violet designed a range of stationery for bloodstock agency, Norris Bloodstock (purchasers of Oaks winner Dancing Rain).
Southcourt Stud
The owner of Southcourt Stud asked Blue Violet in 2015 to create a small desk calendar for the following year. It was very well received and we were delighted to have been asked to design a similar calendar for each subsequent year until 2022 (when the stud was dispersed). Most of the photographs used in each calendar were taken and edited by Blue Violet.

Blackbird Accountancy
Blue Violet started working with Suffolk-based accountancy practice, Blackbird Accountancy, in 2009. We designed the company logo, a range of stationery — including greetings cards — and a device-responsive website. We worked with Blackbird Accountancy until the business owner’s retirement.
Plexsus
Plexsus was one of Blue Violet’s longest standing clients, until closure of the business in the 2020s. We started working together in 2005 and in summer 2014 we redeveloped their website, having redesigned the company logo earlier in the same year.
G Cartwright & Co
Blue Violet worked with Cambridgeshire solicitor, G Cartwright & Co, from 2008 until the sale of the business. We started by redesigning the company logo, creating stationery items (including the trifold leaflet pictured) and also a database-driven website.

Blue Violet worked with Cambridgeshire sawmill, Cottenham Sawmills Ltd from 2009, when we started by designing the company logo, until 2023. We worked closely with our client throughout, on projects including a trifold leaflet, signage, and a database-driven website.
Philip Bedford Consulting Ltd
Blue Violet worked with Cambridge consultancy, Philip Bedford Consulting Ltd from 2009 for about 10 years (until closure of the business owing to retirement). We designed a brochure-style website for the business and regularly work with our client on additional design projects, including greetings cards.
